I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!
The presenter of 'La Revuelta' surprised viewers of the show by not asking the classic questions
Jordi Hurtado (68 years old) is one of the longest-serving faces on television. It's impossible not to see jokes about his age and how little he's changed on camera. He's already presented 6,825 episodes of 'Saber y Ganar' over almost 30 years. Considering that the La 2 quiz show is recorded a month in advance, they're very close to reaching 7,000 recordings . With this milestone in mind, Jordi Hurtado appeared on 'La Revuelta' to share all sorts of anecdotes and interesting facts about his career on the small screen.

They discussed Jordi Hurtado's family connection to another Jordi, Évole , and David Broncano's connection to the first legendary contestant on 'Saber y Ganar' (a Spanish quiz show). They also talked about Hurtado's early days in television with Sergi Schaaff and his voice acting roles in 'Barrio Sésamo' (Sesame Street) and 'Battle: Dragon Ball'. However, the host of 'La Revuelta' surprised his viewers by omitting the most anticipated part of the interview.
  1. David Broncano usually asks his guests the same old questions. The comedian tries to find out how much money they have in the bank (although most of the time he has to settle for an estimate) and how many times they've had sex in the last month. This time he didn't ask them.
  1. The only reference to money came when Jorge Ponce asked if the audience would prefer " to know what David (Broncano) earns or to earn what David earns ." "There's no doubt about it!" Hurtado commented, laughing, before leaving the set of the Príncipe Theater in Madrid. He said goodbye with a fun encounter with the singer Ozuna, the second guest of the evening.
Their retirement plans
  1. Jordi Hurtado confirmed that he and Jordi Évole are indeed related, specifically second cousins. "His grandmother was my father's first cousin. Jordi Évole's father is Gonzalo Évole Hurtado. (...) I especially remember going to Cornellà to see his family when I was little," he said. With this, he confirmed one of the most talked-about pieces of information about the presenter. He also spoke about how little he has changed in the almost 30 years he has been at the helm of 'Saber y Ganar' (To Know and To Win). Behind what many consider his secret to eternal youth lies a very simple formula: moderation, routine, and passion for what one does.
  2. "It's normal for people to ask me why I haven't retired . I turned 65 years ago. All my friends are retired," Jordi Hurtado told 'El Independiente'. "I can't imagine myself doing nothing. I'd have to find other things to do. But I'm not going to stop. I'm doing so well that I want to stay active," he added.
He doesn't do sports, but he does stay active. He doesn't follow extreme diets either, but he does favor a Mediterranean diet, rich in fresh produce and vegetables. His favorite treat is dark chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa. All this to be in good shape by February 2027, when 'Saber y Ganar' will celebrate its 30th anniversary on the air. "That's the goal we all share when we work on this program," he explained.
  1. But how much does Jordi Hurtado earn as the presenter of 'Saber y ganar'? According to 'Público', he pockets around 700 euros per episode. This would amount to approximately 168,000 euros per season.

Diamonds may be considered the gold standard when it comes to durable gems, but moissanite is a strong second, sitting comfortably above sapphire, emerald, and topaz. Boasting substantial hardness with a score of 9.25 on the Mohs scale, moissanite resists scratches exceptionally well, ensuring that pieces like engagement rings and everyday jewellery endure over time.

In the following sections, we’ll take a closer look into the properties that contribute to moissanite’s resilience and how it performs under the stresses of everyday wear.
